While continuing my trip back East with friends and family, I took the train into NYC for a night. I was so excited to meet up with Brett’s sister, Charlee, and to meet his new baby niece Audrey!! Since Brett and I live on the West coast, our quality time with this precious girl has been via text message photos and videos. (“Oh look! Dad sent my a video of Audrey yawning!” ~Brett) I couldn’t wait to meet her in person! We planned on doing a mini-photo shoot once I got there. When I walked inside and saw Audrey, she was so excited! I called her Miss Wiggles since she kept shaking her legs with a big smile. I pulled out my camera to take a few photos and BOOM….Audrey was asleep. Wait…what!? NO! Audrey wake up! Baby girl was out for the count. We tried everything to get those big blue eyes to look my way, but all she could do was melt into mommy’s arms. She got changed into her Syracuse outfit and we snapped a few adorable sleeping photos. Towards the end she woke up for a few moments to giggle for us, but was then out again when I left. Hey, being a 2 month old takes a lot out of you, I can’t blame her! Charlee is such a good mommy already and I can’t wait to see Audrey again in a few more months!
