Sarah and Dustin’s Belmont Park Engagement Session

Sarah and Dustin are two of my good friends here in San Diego, and it was a little over a year ago (before they were even engaged!) that Sarah told me she couldn’t wait to have me shoot their engagement photos. I knew it would be a fun shoot, since these two can be pretty silly.  Before we got to the “fun” of Belmont Park, we wanted to take out the paddle boards in the bay. They are both extremely active people, and paddle boarding is one of the many hobbies they have gotten into since moving to Southern California. While I usually take pride in my luck of weather on the day of shoots, we weren’t as fortunate this time around. The wind was blowing them away on the boards! Once we got to Belmont Park, Dustin’s eyes lit up like a little kid in a candy store. He LOVES arcades. Sarah is pretty competitive herself, she coaches high school lacrosse. They competed in a few friendly games before hitting up the roller coaster. We ended the day with ice cream, of course. Can’t wait for their wedding this fall!!!!
