Lyndsey and Matt’s Safari Park Wedding

Where is the perfect place for two animal lovers to get married? The San Diego Safari Park, obviously! Lyndsey and Matt actually met at work as animal technicians. On Lyndsey’s very first day, Matt introduced himself to get her settled. She immediately thought he was cute, and they both could not deny the chemistry they had for each other. They were a couple just a few months later.

Here is how Matt proposed according to Lyndsey:

“Matthew proposed to me on Valentine’s day of 2015. He made me dinner and very casually asked me while we were relaxing at home. It was the perfect way to propose for me. It was intimate and personal, with no stress. And I absolutely love my ring. It’s simple and unique, like our relationship.”

While Matthew is a senior animal technician at UCSD, Lyndsey actually works at the Safari Park as an exhibit attendant with the mammal department! For two animal lovers, you could probably say that the highlight of their wedding day was right after the ceremony when a few trainers brought out a 2 year old Cheetah during cocktail hour! Lyndsey’s jaw dropped and had the biggest smile on her face for the rest of the night- but that also could have been because she got to marry her love. Congrats to you both!
