Not everyone can conveniently get married about a football field length away from the EXACT spot that they first met their significant other. But that is exactly what Leah and Spencer were fortunate enough to do! These two met at Cuyamaca College. They had been seeing each other around on campus often, when finally Spencer had the courage to walk up to Leah and introduce himself. To think that years later, they would be saying “I Do” at an almost visible spot from where they were standing about 500ft away (they measured it). The rest was history!
Obviously because of the history there, the Water Conservation Garden was the perfect choice for their wedding. They both had tears in their eyes when seeing each other for the first time under the canopy of the amphitheater where they exchanged vows before family and friends. Guests then got to walk along the pathways of the garden to the reception area, where they feasted on yummy food made by Señor Grubby’s. Before the sunset, Leah and Spencer took a little stroll to the exact spot where they met, re-telling the story like it was yesterday. “Spencer came up to me and told me he had noticed me around, and I was like, ‘Yeah I’ve been noticing you noticing me!’ “. Everyone danced the night away under the stars of the warm San Diego summer night, and sent off the happy bride and groom with a sparkler exit. Congrats to you both!
