I wish I could just have Taylor and Turner’s friends write this post for me- they have SO many positive remarks about these two! The love between these two high school sweethearts seemed to be the rock between a lot of their friendships. Turner and Taylor met their sophomore year of high school on the bleachers of the football field. They quickly became best friends, which led to dating for an incredible eight years. After graduating from high school, Taylor moved across the country to attend Florida State University while Turner attended school in Santa Barbara, California. After a year of long distance, Turner moved to Florida to be with Taylor. They eventually moved back to Santa Barbara and graduated together from The University of California Santa Barbara. To propose, Turner reserved a Duffy boat in Newport Beach and told Taylor their friends were getting together for a sunset cruise. He strategically planned for all of their friends to run late and told her the two of them would have to get the boat on their own and then pick up their friends at a different location. Taylor was annoyed because their friends are notorious for running late. Once on the boat, she couldn’t figure out why he was acting so nervous and was worried something was wrong. He finally got down on one knee and popped the big question! Their families were waiting on the dock with champagne and flowers to celebrate!!!
They picked the stunning venue of Serendipity Garden Weddings to finally tie the knot. This venue is the ideal wedding spot! Not only did the bride and groom get to run away into the sunset with a horse drawn carriage, but they had stunning views of the valley and the sun finally dipped behind the mountains. Friends and family danced the night away after one of Turner’s groomsmen played a video for the bride and groom. It was emotional and raw- with clips of a lot of the guests explaining Taylor and Turner’s love for each other, and how even couples who have 20 years of marriage on them would look up to their relationship as an amazing example of what dedication should be. Congrats to you two!!!
