What a week in the Caribbean these two had! To say I was flattered when Keith called me up last year to ask about me photographing his and Lauren’s wedding would be an understatement. Keith was in my first ever photography class in college, so you could literally say he has been following me since the start! The original wedding plans for these two were to get married on the island of Vieques off of Puerto Rico. Once the hurricane hit in the fall and destroyed most of the island, they had to quickly change plans. They still wanted a sunny Caribbean wedding, so they found an adorable little villa on the south side of Grand Cayman Island! It was perfect for their vision. Blue skies, aqua water, green palms, and white sandy beaches. Their families and a few of their closest friends all flew down to celebrate with them.
Keith knew how he was going to propose ever since the first day he met Lauren. He kept the first receipt from their very first date, and any and all mementoes from dates and trips they went on. Keith organized all of these materials along with photographs in a scrap book in chronological order with commentary and a date stamp – The Book, as it is referred to, is 140 pages long from the day they met till the day they were engaged! They plan to keep the book up to date and to create a series of them to cover their lives together. HOW CUTE IS THAT??? Congrats to these two!!!
Jeff - Perfect place for a wedding! This wedding looks so much fun too! Loved the images!
