John and Melissa really wanted to have an extra day for photos after their wedding. I LOVED this idea because while we still get to always shoot together on the actual wedding day, a post-wedding bridal session really gives us time to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and get creative with photos. Melissa was brave enough to wear her wedding dress in the surf! We almost got knocked down a few times but *totally worth it*. They took the week off from work after their wedding day to spend time with friends and family who came in to San Diego. Once they were gone, they had the rest of the week to themselves.
