My Peter Pan Syndrome?

Remember awhile back I posted a family session with Cody and Sophi?  LOOK HOW BIG THEY ARE NOW. Ok, so it is not like they have grown 5 feet or are driving cars now, in fact it has only been a year, but SERIOUSLY! Why do kids have to grow up so fast? Sophia talks to me like an adult now, and Cody swears he has man muscles already. If the kids are getting bigger before my very own eyes….how are my own parents viewing me!? Now that I am considered an “adult”, all I want to do is eat ice cream all day and play with bubbles in the back yard with out anyone judging me. Peter Pan was right.

Anyway, I thought everyone would appreciate seeing these munchkins on the blog again, and know that yes- their Grandparents are still overly adorable with them. Picture perfect (and very photogenic!) family right here!

“High Five!”

As I met the Zemer’s for their family photo session in the parking lot leading to one of the trails at Torrey Pines State Reserve, little Joshy was the first to greet me as he jumped out of the van saying “Hi Fiiiive! Look at my crocs!!”. From then on I knew it was going to be a fun shoot. And it was! With three huge personalities for three little kids, the evening was very entertaining. We started on one of the trails to catch that golden light. I brought with me a blanket I purchased that morning for TWELVE dollars (!!!) from a man in Old Town, which is now going to be my favorite family shoot prop.

We then headed down close to the water right before sunset. It was perfect. The marine layer decided to take the day off so that we could enjoy a proper farewell to the sun for the day. There were lots of giggles and hugs amongst the family of five. They sure are one photogenic group!

Pham Zeman - Beautiful as always Shelly. Next year, the Zemans want to go to Torrey pine too. Or the Japanese garden in balboa park.
