Piper turned 11!!! Wow how time flies! Again, this girl knows how to host a party. This year’s theme was a carnival theme! And what carnival wouldn’t be complete with out a few rides, ring toss, balloon pop games, fun prizes, a pool party, tacos, cotton candy, and popcorn?! But to top it all off, some jugglers came out and the finale was a insane contortionist who amazed the crowd! After the pinata was popped and the candy collected, all of Piper’s friends sang her happy birthday and they gobbled down some cupcakes in her honor. Happy birthday again, Piper!!
Melanie and Erik got married! But the real question of the day was; was it Mel and Erik’s day, or Bernie the goldendoodles day? (But isn’t every day Bernie’s day!?) Bernie’s parents got to tie the knot in one of Southern California’s most beautiful venues, Serendipity Garden Weddings! And the only thing that could make this venue even more beautiful, is the peak bloom of the roses surrounding the entire space. Bernie was a “good boy” and stood up with the other groomsmen the entire duration of the ceremony, while Mel and Erik exchanged their sweet and heart felt vows. The party went alllll night long as guests sipped on the signature cocktails, “the Good Boy” and “the Bernie”. So happy for these two sweethearts and congrats again!!
Well this shoot was quite the contrast to Rachel and Charles’ wedding day in Columbus, Ohio! And I’m not just talking about the scenery, but the weather! haha! Rachel and Charles got married in Ohio earlier this year, and the wedding was *gorgeous* AND so much fun! But, the weather wasn’t quite cooperating for us that much that day! With horizontal wind and rain, we enjoyed the perks of being indoors most of that day. Since these two live in San Diego, and since Charles loves to surf, we did a bridal shoot on the beach! The sun was out, the waves were perfect, and all was amazing. Of course, it was just nice catching up with these two as well! Married life is treating them well!
