These two know how to plan an engagement session! And engaged life looks good on them! Marilyn and Calvin live in New Orleans. As they also work in the wedding industry, they wanted “something different” for their own session. After a bunch of researching and planning, Page, Arizona became the perfect spot. They also made a mini vacation out of it, stopping in Las Vegas. The desert has such a unique vibe, which can only be shown visually through images, but is something completely different in person. We started the day meeting up at Lower Antelope Canyon, along with their videographers, Eskimo Love Stories, for a tour of the iconic slot canyons carved away ancient rivers. Then before hitting our next stop, we all got some tacos in downtown Page. We then ended up at Horseshoe Bend to catch the sunset. As the sun lowered, the rocks got even redder, and the water below in the canyon was so peaceful. These two are a lot of fun, and they are SO natural in front of the camera. I can’t wait for their wedding next summer!!
Jesika and Scott tied the knot! They had a lovely Fall afternoon hidden away in The Meadows of Temecula Creek Inn. Before their ceremony, the two decided to privately exchange their vows to each other, which was quite the emotional moment for both of them. Family and friends then got to watch the pair exchange rings and say I do before it was time to party the night away! Congrats to you both!
Recently I just returned from a quick trip to Asheville, North Carolina after attending this year’s Photo Rehab workshop! A bunch of photographers from around the country spent a few days in the mountains learning from each other and getting creative. A few styled shoots were also set up, and I wanted to share some images of the shoot put together by Junebug Weddings!
