It’s that time of year again for another Easter bash at the Groff’s! The epic egg hunt is the highlight of the afternoon, but that is not until the kids get their fill of other Easter themed treats and games. After getting bunny and chick tattoos, they were challenged to a hula hoop contest. Things started to get really competitive after the bunny hop race and egg-on-a-spoon relay. The boys went up against the girls in a tug of war contest, and the girls WON! (Even after a rematch!) The kids then all hid out for a bit as the easter eggs were scattered across the lawn. On the count of three, the kids were set loose and all of those eggs were picked up within 5mins!! (Don’t you wish they could clean up their room that fast?) Another successful Egg Hunt in the books! Have a great Spring everyone!
Katrina and Casey are getting married! We had such a lovely time photographing their engagement session around all of their first date spots in Long Beach. We first met at the Lighthouse where Katrina would keep pointing out different restaurants to Casey, “Oh we’ve been there too! That was like our second date!”. I could see why Casey would want to bring her there too, with beautiful views of the city and harbor, as well as the lighthouse itself, with the Queen Mary in the background. The sunset didn’t disappoint either! We made sure to catch the last bit of sunlight at a beach they would often walk the dogs and go for walks on. It was perfect! I can’t wait for the wedding in San Diego in a few months! Congrats!
They did it! Friends and family came from both coasts just to witness these two loves get married at the beautiful Muckenthaler Mansion! Their classic and elegant wedding was only enhanced by the great company of such caring and loving families. Seriously, everyone of their guests was so pleasant! Once the girls saw Shira in her Hayley Paige wedding dress, their jaw dropped. We then sent her on her way to do a First Look with David. Before she even got to him, the tears started to rush down. (Tears of pure joy that is). It was quite an emotional moment!! Before the ceremony in front of guests, the two had a private moment inside the mansion to sign the Ketubah. The rest of the day was perfect, and they dined in the garden as a few family members shared kind words about the bride and groom. The rest of the night was spent dancing under the market lights of the back patio! Congrats to Shira and David!
