These two (and their pups!) were so much fun to hang with! It’s that time of year when everyone flocks to Georgetown to head up the mountains to witness the aspen turning colors for fall. We all met up at a brewery to hang for a bit before driving up to go aspen hunting, and had such a great time! This part of the state is gorgeous at every turn so it wasn’t hard to find some pull offs here and there for some picturesque areas. We frolicked, we ran, we danced, and ended at the top of the mountain for an epic sunset over a 14er. Can’t wait for their wedding next year! Congrats you two!
Woke up at 5am to meet these two for an early sunrise session up near Guanella Pass! The top of the mountain was completely fogged out, but we just casually drove our way down back to Georgetown, stopping often to go aspen hunting and sweet what cool things we could find! Ashley and Aaron were in town to find their perfect wedding venue, and thought it would be the perfect time to also get some engagement photos in! The leaves were just starting to turn their pretty colors for fall time, and even though it was freezing, it was amazingly beautiful! We embraced the wind and the cold and these two huddled together for some adorableness. Congrats you two!
These two were a blast to hang with! (Including their adventurous pup, Huck!) John is a firefighter up near Beaver Creek, so we actually started their session at the fire house where he works! We played around with the truck and his gear and Huck almost got swept away by the river, BUT he managed to pull himself out like nothing happened. We then went aspen hunting and packed up and then moved on our towards the mountains! Once we got to the summit, Huck ran about and his little white tipped tail bouncing around was all we could see of him and these two spun around in the meadow for a bit 🙂 The clouds rolled in and we cracked open a few beers to end the evening. So excited for their summer wedding in the mountains next year!!
