Cuteness overload!! I remember a year ago when Leo was born on Easter. I was actually photographing their family friends Easter party when when the announcement was made that Leo had arrived! Ava and Sam were so excited to be big brother and sister to this little munchkin. Now he is officially one year old. Crazy to think of what can happen in a year. Take a moment to bask in Leo’s shining bright eyes with photos of him and his older siblings on a lovely afternoon in beautiful, sunny San Diego.
Amanda and Justin are getting married! I LOVE hearing how my couples met, and Amanda and Justin’s story is such a cute one! Here is their story in Amanda’s words: “Justin and I met in May of 2010, in of all places the Santa Clara parking lot in Mission Beach. I had just finished up rollerblading with my now Maid of Honor Betsy and he was getting ready to go surf with two of his friends. We were parked next to each other so when I was changing into my shoes he came up and complimented me on my roller blade’s. He told me that if I hung out with him “he would get me some custom blades.” (I have yet to see these “custom blades”, now almost five years later.) He left with his two friends to go surf and I asked my friend Betsy if she thought he was cute and if I should leave my number on his car. She said yes and gave me some paper and a pencil. I left a note and he text me that night and we ended up hanging out a couple days later and have been together ever since!” A few years later, Justin would propose to Amanda on the beaches of Kauai on a family vacation. They all went out to the beach and he had written his proposal in the sand! She said yes! Can’t wait for their wedding later this year!

Lena and Daniel are getting married! These two had a fun engagement session on a crazy and hectic day in Balboa Park! Balboa Park is one of San Diego’s hot spots for tourism. You can find EVERYTHING there from nice restaurants, fun museum’s, street performers, wedding parties running by, music festivals, and much much more. I believe all of these events were going on, and then some, the day we were at the park. It was lively and vibrant, just like their shoot! Lena and Daniel had some special guests come with them to our shoot, their three pups! Just like all children, each dog has their own personality, which made it difficult for them to focus and pose for some photos! It was all in good fun though when the dogs would get excited that it was their turn for a photo. While one would pay attention and smile for the camera, another would be licking on of their parent’s faces. So adorable! All three dogs will be making an appearance at their wedding later this fall! Congrats to you both!
