Had a great time frolicking around the wild flowers of Boulder, Colorado with these two (and Ramsey of course!). They got back into their wedding day attire and we picked up some pretties from Boulder Blooms and had quite the afternoon amongst the Flatirons! Thanks for being such fun and great sports Rachel and Nic! And thanks to the team at Boulder Blooms! Check out the flower crowns they made for Ramsey, our hat, and most importantly, our CHAMPAGNE! (Can we make champagne flower crowns a thing? yeah? K.). And ended with champagne showers, ’cause why not. <3
It was so much fun hanging out and celebrating with Breanna and Jordan in the LA arts district downtown! We kind of looked at the afternoon as a “hey let’s hang out and get drinks and just wing this shoot, yeah??” haha! After chatting with these two on the phone about their wedding and getting to know their personality a bit, this was going to be the perfect plan! I ended up meeting them at the Nomad Hotel downtown, where they had actually gotten a room for the night! They sipped some champagne to start the evening and let loose a bit, and the giggling began! hehe! After exploring the hotel a bit, we then hopped in my car and headed to the arts district. We stopped at a few breweries and bars (special thanks to Clementine and the gang at Inko Nito!) and I was the one who had to drag these two to all of our new spots because they were having so much fun chatting with bartenders and trying to fancy cocktails 🙂 So what better way to end a session like this than with a CHAMPAGNE SHOWER? Or as Breanna put it- her “dream photo!” Can’t wait to do it all over again for their wedding next year! Yay! Congrats to you two!
Connie and Calvin had an adventure for their engagement session! I told them of a fun spot I found while out hiking near Mt. Laguna recently, and knew it would be perfect for sunset! Luckily, they trusted me! We had fun hiking the mile or so out to the lookout spot, taking photos the whole way there. We weren’t ready for the bugs and mosquitos examining us while we stopped and posed but, we survived! Once we got to the look out spot, all three of us just marveled at the beauty that is Southern California. I love how we can be at the beach in the morning, the mountains an hour later, and in the desert soon after that. The diversity of landscape is just beautiful! These two were troopers as I said “ok, lets try to climb on this steep rock, I promise it will be worth it!” And they did! The above photo is the result of that haha. These two were just so cute and fun and makes me so excited for their wedding!!! Congrats you two!
